Whales, Dolphins and the Rainbow River!

Combine Whale Watching Season with Rainbow River Season!

Want to come to Colombia in the second semester of the year, and don’t know where to start?

In this private tour you will have the opportunity to combine several seasonal destinations in Colombia.

We are talking about the whale season and the rainbow river season, the famous seven color river of Cano Cristales, which start from June to November every year.

And if that is not enough, you will have the opportunity to visit the pink dolphins of the Amazon in San Jose del Guaviare, as well as the closest cave paintings to Chiribiquete: Cerro Azul in the Serrania de la Lindosa.

Additionally, you will be able to meet and photograph the poison dart frogs of the Pacific, as well as the glass frogs.

This tour has private, personalized services at each destination and the accompaniment of a local expert guide.

Extra luggage is up to 32kg per passenger, with an additional cost per kg.  If you travel with more that the permitted luggage, you will have to send it via cargo. This is not included in the costs of this trip, but we can help you with that if you require.

Flights depart from Bogota, with a scale in Medellin’s Olaya Herrera Airport. The flight back has a scale in the same airpot in Medellin. You must consider there are no direct flights from any other city to Bahia Solano different from Medellin.

Few places are as mysterious and beautiful at the same time as the Utría Cove, located on the northern Pacific coast of Colombia, in the department of Chocó. The Cove is a changing landscape that rises and falls with the tide, surrounded by mangroves. During low tide some terrestrial creatures move among the mangrove roots, but when the tide rises, they move to give way to the underwater fauna that arrives with the sea water.

You must take into account that the Utría National Natural Park is closed, and only ecotourism activities are allowed as a day trip, that is, entering the protected area in the morning hours and leaving at the time set by the Park.
