Photographic Safari in Colombia

Photography Tours
Guanapalo

With more than 200 species of birds reported and a great representation of mammals such as pumas, tigrillos, anteaters, deers, among others, as well as large reptiles such as the anaconda and the babillas, this is a key place to see animals in a short time. In this magical landscape you will live a true photographic Safari in Colombia.

With more than 9000 hectares of the Natural Reserves of Civil Society in Casanare – Hatos Mata de Palma, Altamira and Montana, you will find families of llanera tradition which since 1908 have destined this territory to the extensive cattle ranch, but recently have developed a traditional handling that allowed, in a singular way, to conserve the natural ecosystems of the plains with great diversity of plants and animals.

This place full of charm, in addition to its biological wealth, has the most deeply rooted llanera traditions; its workers, strong llaneros, exalt this culture through their practices related to dairy and meat production, love for their horses, for their hats, for their plain, for women and for nature. Here you can truly enjoy the llanera culture, its gastronomy, folklore and in general many of its material and immaterial cultural expressions, which today are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
